Don’t just take our word for it

“We were delighted to accommodate Jessica and her BeScience STEM volunteers and it was great to have so many young people and their families in our Open Centre for the day. DMU’s electric car was also parked outside all day which also attracted quite some interest from members of the public who came into BBC Leicester to ask what was going on! We think the workshops are a great idea and would be happy to welcome a return visit by the team in the future.”

Pete W.,
BBC Radio’s Programmes Editor
“Initially I volunteered accidentally; I didn't know what I was signing up for. Library LAB is very engaging, exciting and makes you want to step out of your comfort zone and begin to fully enjoy the experience. Since my 'accidental start, I've been inspired to do more STEM community outreach through BeScience STEM and to learn more about STEM subjects myself.”

Azka N.,
University of Leicester Audiology student
“The event was very beneficial to our Brand and provided great insight and networking opportunities into STEM careers for the delegates. A great addition to the conference was the finely detailed management and hospitality provided by BeScience... We aim to make a return next year.”
